What is SplatMaster? SplatMaster is a fundamentally different type of paintball game geared towards young players who may be too intimidated to play traditional paintball. Everything about SplatMaster is geared towards taking the fear out of paintball. SplatMaster markers are operated by a spring rather than compressed air like a traditional paintball marker. This means the paintballs fly through the air at a slower rate of speed, about half the speed of normal paintball. The paintballs themselves are smaller, about one third smaller than a normal paintball. This means the impact of the paintball hitting the player is softer because the object hitting them is smaller. In addition, all SplatMaster play at Capital Edge Paintball Park is conducted on a designated field reserved just for SplatMaster. All of this adds up to a fun filled day of excitement for your young ones, a day they will never forget!
To use the SplatMaster facilities and equipment a reservation is required. The SplatMaster facilities are rented out to groups for designated blocks of time. Unlike traditional paintball where an individual player can just show up during regular buisness hours and be placed into a group with other random players, SplatMaster requires you bring a group of people with you; friends, family, church group, etc. With a SplatMaster reservation you are estentially making a reservation for your "party." See below for SplatMaster pricing. Every SplatMaster group is provided a referee to guide the players through their adventure and ensuring safety rules are always followed. SplatMaster is intended for players from ages 8-12, but exceptions are made for mom, dad, siblings (must be a minimum of 8 years old), etc. SplatMaster paintballs are 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, non-staining, and can easily wash away with water. All participants must be a minimum of 8 years old.
